PAGSIPAT SA NOBELANG “SI” NI BOB ONG GAMIT ANG DULOG ROMANTISISMO

Abstract

 This research was conducted to deeply analyze the content of
the novel 'SI' by Bob Ong, a significant literary work with a unique
narrative, through the Theory of Romanticism. This qualitative research
with a descriptive design aims to show people's experiences trying longdistance love or long-distance relationships. The study uses Content
Analysis and is based on explorations in the novel; it consists of two (2)
characters, Mr. Trinidad and Victoria Fulgencio - Trinidad as well as
two (2) settings, Manila and Rizal. The Plot shows the importance of
romanticism through the actions of the characters and scenes within the
novel, where the passionate love of each character was shown in some
selected scenes. The researcher developed a 'Video Lesson or Video
Presentation' proposal to help students' interactive learning in Grade 10.
There was a review and evaluation of the developed Video Lesson or
Video Presentation that was answered by two (2) Teachers III from the
Division of San Jose City, Nueva Ecija, at Caanawan National High
School. The result, scoring 68 in total, was a resounding endorsement
of the proposal's effectiveness, instilling confidence in its potential to
enhance learning.
